2023-2024 Lake Geneva Schools Joint #1 School District Spelling Bee
The following students participated in the District Spelling Bee held on January 10th at Lake Geneva Middle School:
Star Center: Hazel Hutkowski and Oliver McKinney
Eastview: Beyna Nicia, Julia Skladanowski, Amelia Kolb, Rhys Finley, and Sten Hardesly
Maple Park Charter: Naomi Tost
LGMS: Alyvia Rouse, Lena Zeis, Dale Montemurro, Grady Bishop, Antonio Montemurro, Riley Elverman, Piper Perry, Roman Pekny, Max Leedle, Julia Needle, Melanie Ovalle-Ovalle, and Natalia Schiller.
Congratulations to the winners: 1st place – Antonio (T.J.) Montemurro, 2nd place – Rhys Finley, 3rd place – Riley Elverman, and 4th place – Julia Needle.
Good luck to T.J. and Rhys as they represent Lake Geneva School District at the CESA 2 Regional Spelling Bee, which is being held at Whitewater High School on January 17.
